Instructions for application.

Installation instructions:

TOOLS REQUIRED: Isopropyl/Rubbing alcohol or NON-AMMONIA glass cleaner, A (clean, soft, dry) rag, Squeegee or credit card, Masking tape, and Tape measure TEMPERATURE REQUIREMENTS: Air and surface temperatures must be above 50 degrees Fahrenheit

1. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP: Wash the surface with soap and water. Spray the surface with Isopropyl/Rubbing alcohol or NON-AMMONIA glass cleaner and wipe dry. NOTE: Freshly painted surfaces should be allowed to dry for 1 week prior to application. Decals will not stick if the surface has any sort of residue or lubricants on it.

2. Lay the decal face down on a hard surface. Take a corner of the backing paper (white paper looking part) and slowly fold it back over itself while holding the decal and transfer tape (top clear part) flat on the surface. Continue to remove the backing paper at a sharp angle making sure the decal is separating from the paper. If it tries to pull, press back down and try again until paper is completely removed.

3. Hold the decal tight by both ends and line it up where you want it. Lightly let the top of the transfer tape touch and stick to the surface. Step back and make sure it is where you want it. Reposition if necessary.

4. Slowly start applying pressure to the top and center area of the decal. You can use your hands or a squeegee like a credit card to do so. Work your way outwards, applying pressure, work the air out from behind the decal. If you start to get a wrinkle, you can sometimes lift from one end and flatten it out. Do this until all the air has been removed from behind the decal part and it looks like its adhered good.

5. Slowly take a corner of the transfer tape and fold it back over itself at a sharp angle. Continue to pull that corner back over itself until its completely removed from the vinyl decal. Doing this will insure the decal doesn't pull up. If the decal tries to pull up with the transfer tape, apply more pressure to vinyl until it sticks and doesn't pull up. NOTE: Surfaces like matte finishes that are slightly textured can take more effort to get the vinyl to stick. You may have to go back and rub the decals with your fingers to get them to stick properly.

6. Step back and admire your new decals! If there are any air bubbles that were missed, take a pin or needle and poke a small hole in the center of the bubble. Then rub the air out and the hole will be barely visible. A bit of heat will also help on stubborn bubbles or corners.

Removal:

Use a bit of heat from a heat gun or hairdryer to make the decal softer. Then start at a corner and pick at it till it becomes loose. Then slowly pull away the decal from the surface. It will most likely rip into pieces. Trying to keep larger pieces makes for easier removal. After you have removed the decal there may still be some adhesive left over. You can remove this by using isopropyl alcohol on a rag and scrubbing it till it disintegrates.
